The Concept: 

Talisman 3D Printing and Design, much like a paper and ink print shop, offers a local 3D printing option for the South Florida counties of Charlotte and Sarasota, but instead of printed documents we produce printed..."Things".  Talisman 3D Printing and Design has the potential to impact multiple industries, such as, medical, architecture, education, crafts, hobbyists, inventors, and artists. The core of our business is a customer driven, local 3D print  service that offers our customers the ability to create an almost unlimited array of objects.

The Process:

• 1.) The Customer has an idea for a part, item, something- that will help them accomplish a specific task or finish off that project.  Its a custom part, but they don't need thousands of them and they don't want to settle for a 'kinda' version of that part they found online, or wait for weeks for a large online 3D print company from half-way around the world to ship them that part- only to realize it was wrong or flawed and have to deal with the returns process and shipping it back, etc.
• 2.)  The Customer purchases or downloads for free, thru sites like Thingiverse, MyMiniFactory, or Terrainator and delivers a 3D printable file (.STL or .OBJ) to us, either by uploading it to our website or sending it to us via email.  Additionally a customer can design or create their own 3D CAD drawing using a program such as TinkerCAD, 
• 3.) After uploading and prepping the design file for printing Talisman 3D will quote our Customer a price based on a simple formula- price per gram of a particular material plus a price per hour charge for our machine run time (billed in quarter hour increments).  In house design services are limited at this time and incur an additional cost on a per hour basis.
• 4.) After reviewing our quote a customer can pay their invoice directly from their email quote which will place their project in our print que.
• 5.) Customer will be notified via email when their print is done and can opt to pick it up or have their part(s) delivered within the Charlotte and Sarasota county area.  Items can also be shipped worldwide if needed.  Shipping and delivery fees are a separate and additional charge.

Talisman 3D offers a variety of materials from which to print your designs, both in a rainbow of colors and a wide range of materials, each with different properties to solve different issues with your products. These include but are not limited to
